Every year TASA / TASB (the Texas Association of School Administrators and the Texas Association of School Boards) meet for a fall convention! TAEA presents exhibits during this convention to continue to advocate for visual arts throughout the year!
At the TASA / TASB Convention, you'll have the chance to visit an amazing student art exhibit, as well as participate in student artist-led interactive demonstrations!
You can also visit the Visual Art Advocacy booth, where you can learn more about communicating the importance of quality visual arts programs at the local, regional, and state levels!
Every year at TASA / TASB, TAEA presents a student exhibit featuring work from Pre-K - 12th grade artists! This convention attracts school board members as well as district leaders from all over Texas.
TAEA also presents an Arts Advocacy Booth in the exhibit hall! This provides an amazing opportunity for teachers and students to make quality art on site!
Beginning Monday, August 5, 2024, one district representative will need to register all artwork for their district. A Google folder will then be shared with the district representative where digital artwork images as well as permission slips will need to be uploaded no later than Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at midnight. We look forward to seeing artwork from every district in this year's exhibit!
Registration links will be available here Monday, August 5, 2024 - Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
